Well Hello there text

How has October been for you? 1 rotate
At Little Wood we have been thoroughly embracing the changing season, enjoying beautiful crisp mornings, cosy knits and decorating our home. It has been a beautiful start to Autumn, weather wise, and as a family we have spent as much time outdoors as we can.

So, onto our Little Wood loves for this month…

Us and Them

October has been the month of making things! It is not often that we get crafty as a family, but we have enjoyed simple seasonal activities to display around our home and fill our tummies too!

Our Thankful Tree (see here for more details!)…

Log chalkboards with Autumnal messages…

Homemade Blackberry and Apple Crumble using our own foraged fruit…

It has been really lovely to get outside and spend quality moments with the kids. As Winter approaches I’m definitely thinking of more ideas to make and do together.

Me and Him

We enjoyed a child-free date day to celebrate my birthday. Some shopping, a beautiful lunch and an afternoon catching up on our favourite programmes. Bliss!

We have also been making our home cosy now that the colder evenings are upon us…

Little Me

I was delighted to attend a very lovely press breakfast with Next, to preview their new Christmas collection…

And also delighted to be back in my cosy clothes!

For my birthday I was very lucky to receive these beautiful Miu Miu sunglasses. I have lusted after them for months, and they are every bit as lovely as I imagined…

November, for us, signals a little calm before the storm of Christmas is upon us. We are looking forward to catching up with friends, planning for the festive season and starting the shopping!
All best accompanied by mince pies and Gingerbread lattes. It’s never too early for those, right?

See you next month with all our festive favourites!

E x

Have you any ideas for Winter craft activities with the kids? Leave them in the comments. I’d really love to know!
