1) Power up products with heat. ‘I often gently heat products in either a beautician’s warmer (you could use a bowl of hot water) or my hands to increase the efficiency. Face mask sachets and hair conditioning masks are particularly great warmed (you can heat them in the bath). Hot flannels are fantastic at aiding a deep cleanse and removing debris or stubborn products from skin.’

2) Self-heating products deliver great results. ‘I adore the 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask, £10.50 and also the Thermal Rose Clay Mask (part of the Thermal Transformation Mask, £27.50) The warming action is fantastic, relaxing the face and delivering ingredients deep into the skin. The firming body scrub is amazing too, as it heats on contact with the body and really helps to achieve a deep cleanse and thorough exfoliation.’

3) Supercharge relaxation. ‘Heat is very important at relaxing the body and mind. It eases muscle tension and also makes you feel secure and cocooned. In my treatments I use heated blankets and also stones and heated towels for the neck, shoulders and feet.’

4) Invest in an easy wellbeing boost. ‘I love hot water bottles. I have one that’s long and thin and sits in the middle of my bed warming the whole length of mattress.’ Try yuyubottle.com

5) Try a warming scent. ‘Cinnamon, ginger, frankincense and berry are all are scents that induce warmth feelings.’
