March loves from our Mummy Blogger

Well Hello There!1 rotate

I’m really hoping that we’ve put the gales and rain of February behind us. It certainly seems like Spring is in the air a little more round here anyway – our little wood is blossoming with pussy willow and daffodils, and we are enjoying brighter, milder days.

March has been a busy month for us at Little Wood, full of exciting plans and activities. It seems that everything is waking up after the Winter, even our social lives!

Us and Them

World Book Day brought with it the usual scramble for dressing up outfits. Every year I swear I’ll be more organised – it’s yet to happen! I’m not sure that I’d have got away with anything other than Queen Elsa for our littlest anyway. We were interpreting the book theme very loosely this year!

We also were asked to contribute to a focus group on family friendly changes to City Hall this month. We are very honoured to be involved, and really enjoyed hearing more about the charity behind these new developments.

Me and Him

We managed a quick trip away to London this month, and really enjoyed spending time together, as well as with lovely friends.

4

We also squeezed in a trip to Warner Brothers studios for their Harry Potter tour. It was fascinating, and a really magical experience…

5

Little Me

I’ve been attempting to ward off colds and flus this month with lots of green juice…

Clashing my pinks and wearing delicate jewellery…

(Coat-Boohoo, Midi Ring-Astrid and Miyu, Necklace-Accessorize, Nails-Essie)

And brightening up our kitchen table with Anemones, Hyacinths and Tulips…

We are all so looking forward to the longer days that April will bring. Lighter evenings and brighter mornings and hopefully a little bit of warmth in the sun too! Next month will see us thinking toward holidays, Summer plans and a few garden updates too. I’ll look forward to catching up with you then!

What did your littles dress up as for World Book Day? I’d love some inspiration for next year!
