Sanctuary is delighted to support the charity Wellbeing of Women and has been for several years.
Wellbeing of Women is the charity investing in the future health of women and babies. Established in 1964, Wellbeing of Women invest in research projects and allocate funds towards the training of specialist doctors and midwives. This cutting edge research has been instrumental in creating breakthroughs in the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology, including fetal scanning, IVF and cervical cancer screenings. While investment in medical research has led to drastic improvements in the survival rates for many other cancers, sadly, almost 8,000 new cases of womb cancer are diagnosed every year in the UK.
From 1st January until 29th February 2016, Sanctuary will donate £10 to Wellbeing of Women with the purchase of every Warming Detox Charcoal Wash (£9) or 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask (£10) on sanctuary.com to fund a womb cancer research project
